To learn how to get a perfect fitting tee in 2024> Measuring For The Perfect Fitting Tee

Thank you for visiting. Happy shopping.

Classic Fit

The majority of women’s tee styles fall under this category. A “Classic” tee, well, that means timeless, never going out of style, aging well. Like old classic cars, high quality furniture, the little black dress… or a Classic White Tee to wear with absolutely everything!

The classic fit tee is looser, whereas a regular fit is in between slim and classic fit. But often it is placed under a classic tee anyway.

A classic tee emphasizes comfort and precise cut throughout the chest and waist. It also has a broader fabric cut across the shoulders and sides. This creates a clean, confident appearance.

Designer Tees

Slim Fit

As the category name suggests, these tees provide a feminine flattering look that brings out your curves. This look is also sometimes called “Junior Fit.”

Slim-fit clothing tends to favor women with slimmer or athletic body types. But, my personal opinion is that nothing is off limits. Whatever feels right to you and makes you feel good, that’s what matters. If you have don’t happen to have an athletic body, order up a size or two so that it gives you a fit that you do like.

This style tends to run small and be quite a bit more fitted. For a more mature curvy woman, check your measurements closely (follow the link for instructions on how to measure for a perfect fit in 2024).

These look great layered beneath a denim jacket or cardigan. They’re very versatile as they pair well with shorts, skirts, leggings, jeans… the various looks are only limited by your imagination.

Choose a style that fits both your comfort level and your size and shape. I’ve never known anyone who put on a fitted tee that didn’t feel just a little bit sexier. Who wouldn’t want that?

Loose Fit

This tee does not hug your form, it fits comfortably so that you can move freely. The fabric is typically a lighter type. I’ve sometimes seen it referred to as a “missy fit.” Compared to a classic fit, a loose fit has slightly more room. Some shirts are a lot looser, having a baggy, yet not boxy fit.

A relaxed fits sometimes has a dropped shoulder, where the shoulder seam sits lower than your actual shoulder. The body of a "Relaxed Fit" is not so big that you can fit a second you in it, but it certainly means that if you sized down, the tee would probably still fit you.

If you’re looking to buy a casual tee for working in the yard, or hanging out at your local antique or coffee shop, this is a tee that lets you get things done. Or… not.

I can see you wearing your relaxed fit tee to bed so you can get up in the morning and start making your coffee or tea in it. Take your cup of your favorite beverage out to your garden, sit in your favorite chair and watch the birds and butterflies waking up. It’s just that kind of tee. Unpretentious.
