On Printed Apparel & Decor:
I do all I can to make the purchase process transparent and easy. If you order wearable clothing, notecards, pillows, prints, canvas prints, or other printed items, please understand that once you place your order, the manufacturing process begins. Your items are made fresh, just for you! You’re not buying something sitting in a warehouse. The fabric, canvas, prints, or patterns are printed and if appropriate, sewn — after you place an order.
Therefore, please make sure that the item you want is correct and in the proper size before ordering. This benefits everyone. We want you to receive the order in great condition, fitting exactly the way you want to wear it. Returns and restocking costs everyone time and money.
With this in mind, if you are ordering apparel, make sure you read the size guides and order a garment in the proper size for your required fit. Some items say they are slim fit. If you don’t like a slim fit, then order a size or two larger. If there is a design you just have to have but want it on a different garment (say you want a scoop neck but the design I have on my site is a crew neck), for a small fee I can add the design to an appropriate but different garment style in most situations.
Ordering a woman’s tee used to be such a simple thing. But, like most things in the world today, things are no longer straightforward. Manufacturers sizing guides can vary widely. Then, we also have to consider how our bodies change over time. Maybe you used to where a size small, but with a particular style, you would do better to order a medium. There are styles that may fit you well for the first few orders, but later may be too tight in one area or another. So, I have put together my best advice on how to get the perfect fit — no matter which manufacturer or brand you choose.
